Aaronsburg Story, Inc., Scholarship in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology
Consideration shall be given to all full-time graduate or undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology who have achieved superior academic records or show promise of outstanding academic success. Preference shall be given to students who are graduates of Penns Valley Area High School. Endowed by the Aaronsburg Historical Museum Association in memory of Aaron Levy.

 

Alec and Lexi Beliasov Scholarship in Agricultural Business Management
Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Agribusiness Management major in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding success. Endowed by Mr. and Mrs. Alec J. Beliasov.

 

** Kermit Kenyon Birth Memorial Scholarship in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology
Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology who are Pennsylvania residents. Preference for this scholarship will be for students who have achieved positive academic records or manifest promise of academic success and who have demonstrated financial need. Endowed by A. Kermit and Shirley Birth.

 

William T. Butz Memorial Award
Available to full-time baccalaureate students accepted or currently enrolled in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology who have superior academic records or show promise of outstanding academic success. Endowed by friends of William T. Butz.

 

Wilson A. and Mae C. Cease Memorial Scholarship
Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of academic success. Endowed by Mr. and Mrs. Philip H. Cease, in memory of his parents.

 

Thomas C. and Jackie M. Floore Memorial Scholarship Fund in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology
Consideration shall be given to all full-time students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology who have achieved superior academic records or show promise of academic success. Preference shall be given to graduate students. Endowed by Theola F. Thevaos in memory of her parents, Thomas C. and Jackie M. Floore.

 

Albert J. Llewellyn Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be full-time junior or senior students in Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology who have achieved superior academic records. First consideration will be given to graduates of Wilkes-Barre area high schools and second consideration to graduates of State College Area High School. Endowed by the family and friends of Albert J. Llewellyn, Class of 1950.

 

Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association Educational Trust Scholarship
Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology or the Department of Food Science. Preference for this scholarship shall be given to those students who have expressed an interest in retail food marketing. Supported annually by the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Educational Trust Foundation.

 

Alan R. Warehime Scholarship in Agribusiness
Consideration shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences with an Agribusiness minor or option who have achieved superior academic records. Endowed by Alan R. Warehime, 1975 distinguished alumnus, and Hanover Brands, Inc.

 

Kenneth P. Wilkinson Memorial Scholarship in Rural Sociology
Consideration shall be given to all full-time graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Rural Sociology graduate program who have achieved superior academic records or show promise of outstanding academic success. Endowed by family, friends, and colleagues of the late Kenneth P. Wilkinson.

 

** Barry L. and Rosemary Zoumas Trustee Scholarship
Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the Agribusiness Management major within the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a demonstrated financial need.
