Block and Bridle Club

The Penn State Chapter of the National Block and Bridle Club is open to any Penn State student with an interest in the animal sciences industry. Important club activities include the fall student-faculty picnic, a winter semiformal, fall and spring meat sales, spring judging contest, farm and industry tours, world hunger beef canning, and the "Beef up the Blood Supply" spring blood drive. The club assists with the state bull test sale, the Pennsylvania Beef Expo Junior Show, and the Keystone International Livestock Exposition livestock judging contests. Each spring the club hosts the Little International to provide students with the opportunity to prepare and exhibit sheep, swine, horses, and beef cattle. Each year the club provides a delegation to the National Block and Bridle Convention. This year's convention will be held in Kansas City, Missouri.

Club meetings are held the first and third Thursday of each month in 101 ASI Building.
