Introduction to Outdoor Pursuits (KINES 089, W 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M., Shaver's Creek Environmental Center)
- Incoming student wilderness experience. Backpacking and one additional adventure: rock climbing, high ropes course/canoeing. One day of community service.

- Instruction and practice in writing expository prose that shows sensitivity to audience and purpose.
