What is the Focus of the Turgrass Science major?
The Turfgrass Science major focuses on the principles and practices of turfgrass establishment, management, and production for aesthetic, recreational, and conservation purposes.

Did you Know?
Penn State has the largest turfgrass program in the nation. Turfgrass varieties bred at Penn State are found on 90 percent of the world’s golf courses. Graduates also can work for premier sporting facilities like Heinz Stadium, which is home to the Pittsburgh Steelers, or Veterans Stadium, which is home to the Philadelphia Eagles.
