L. Earl and Veronica Casida Graduate Scholarship in Plant Pathology
Consideration for this scholaship shall be given to all full-time graduate students enrolled in the Plant Patholog graduate program in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. Recipents of this scholarship shall be selected by the College of Agricultural Sciences and Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Plant Pathology Department Head.
** The Arthur Gaspari Memorial Scholarship Fund
Consideration shall be given to students majoring in the plant or microbiological sciences who have shown an interest in the mushroom industry and have documented financial need. Endowed by the friends of Mr. Gaspari.
** Harold J. Miller Memorial Endowed Grant-in-Aid
Consideration shall be given to all full-time students enrolled or planning to enroll in the plant sciences who have achieved positive academic records or show promise of outstanding academic success and have documented financial need. Endowed in memory of Dr. Harold J. Miller, Class of 1942.
Lester P. Nichols Memorial Award
Consideration shall be given to all students who have performed outstanding research as graduate degree candidates in Plant Pathology with a primary emphasis on diseases affecting ornamental plants or on other studies as degree candidates in the Department of Plant Pathology. Endowed by friends and colleagues of Lester P. Nichols.
** Henry W. Popp Graduate Assistantship
Consideration shall be given to all students enrolled or planning to enroll in graduate studies in botany, plant physiology, plant genetics, plant cytology, plant morphology, plant taxonomy, plant pathology, plant ecology, mycology, bryology, algology, or pteridology. Recipients must have demonstrated superior academic achievement and have documented financial need. Endowed in honor of Henry W. Popp.
James P. Roberts Scholarship
Consideration shall be given to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Plant Pathology who plan to study mushroom science technology and have achieved superior academic records or show promise of outstanding academic success. First preference will be given to undergraduate students. Endowed in memory of James P. Roberts.
